Важно запомнить:
• В вопросах и отрицаниях глагол ВСЕГДА без окончания -S (даже с he/she/it).
• Ошибка: "Does he works?" → Правильно: Does he work?

Важно о модальных глаголах:
• Они НИКОГДА не добавляют -s в 3-м лице: He can swim (не He cans swim).
• Они — «диктаторы» предложения: фиксируют всё сказуемое в Present Simple, а следующий глагол идёт в инфинитиве.
I want to run. (обычный глагол состояния) vs. I can run. (модальный глагол) — в обоих случаях время Present Simple.
Полная система маркеров Present Simple:
Наречия частоты (always, sometimes, never...) → внешние маячки.
Глаголы состояния (love, know, believe...) → смысловое ядро.
Модальные глаголы (can, must, should...) → грамматические «диктаторы», не терпящие Continuous.
